"Of the 10 artists in the opening exhibition, none takes better advantage of the opportunity than Val Telberg. Mr. Telberg, an artist who has been at work since the 40's, seems to be hitting his stride again here, deftly combining photographs, photo copies, text and drawing in a large black-and-white collage that suggests a nuclear winter of the soul. While the artist's indebtedness to Surrealism remains clear, he seems to have found a means to address social reality as well."
